Welcome to Fall

Today is the first day of Fall! This is my favorite time of year. Sweatshirt weather in the morning. Shorts and t-shirts in the afternoon. I haven't put away my flip flops yet. I can feel the changes in the air. Everything feels energized & pumped. And then there is Pumpkin Latte! Pumpkin scones! Apple picking! Corn mazes! Cinnamon Apple Cider! Mmmmmm.... my mouth is watering and I need to make a run for Starbucks...

As we say goodbye to Summer, and welcome in Autumn, we know that fall is a time of harvest. It signifies a time for us to sit back and reflect upon the fruits of our own labor. Where were you a year ago? How far have you come since then? You've most likely been working toward your own growth, so now is a good time to see how far you've come and to set goals to carry you through the winter months.

As I reflect... last year this time I was moving from Columbia, MD to Reston, VA. This was yet one more big step for me. I wondered where life would take me. Intuitively I knew I was making a good move, but I couldn't help questioning myself. I grew a lot this year in so many ways. Growth is good. I made new friends, new clients. I allowed changes to happen within myself without fighting them. My journey took a lot of twists and turns. I expected to be in a very different place this year. But, I'm not disappointed. My journey took a great turn, and I came out of it a better person for it. My business is growing by leaps and bounds.

I even hired a personal trainer. I begin an intuitive mentorship program in October to assist me in moving to the next level with my spiritual business, my spiritual self, and my own healing. I'm excited and I cannot wait to see what 2020 brings. I allowed the Universe to direct me where I needed to go. I let go of control, believing and trusting that I am always where I need to be.

So... what goals are you setting to carry you through the winter months?
