Something major has happened to the world. We are being forced to wake up, shaken to our very core, struggling to maintain control. Some have chosen to feel the darkness. I think now, more than ever, we must choose to see the light.
We must wake up. We are in a situation where we are being forced to understand that we have no control over anyone but ourselves. Most of us have been in lockdown mode for the past four or five weeks. I don’t know about you, but I feel humbled. The down time has enabled me to see the big picture. We don’t know what we don’t know. Having no control forces us to surrender and trust, and to release our resistance to what is. I feel almost lighter, following my path, but changing it little by little so it fits me, a new enhanced version of me.
Have you had time to think about life? I have. I’ve noticed my patterns of unresolved emotional baggage that have stood in my way of unconditional joyfulness. Meditation, journaling, teaching, and giving readings have made me change my lifestyle bit by bit. I’ve surrendered and trusted that all is okay.
We have been pushed to change the way we do many things. But by looking for the good in everything we are able to somehow set the soul free. Nothing is impossible. Joy exists within us independently of whether things are going our way or not. We need to trust that we will find the joy if we surrender to the situation, moving through it as we move through our feelings.
Look for the good in everything. Nothing is impossible. Surrender and trust and come out on the other side transformed, lighter and brighter, braver and more confident for having moved through darkness.
